Bible with hand-sewn cover. The word Raamattu (Holy Bible) is sewn onto the front of the hand-sewn cover. The Initials H.M.P. are written on the inside. The H.M.P. stands for Hamma or Hilma M. Pasanen, married name is Stalo. Donated by Clyde Stalo in 1991, who is the son of Hilma M. (Pasanen) Stalo. Inscription says: "Hamma Pasanen Muisto Rihtiputaan Alajärven Kansakoulusta. Toukuu 15 p:vä 1915. (May 15, 1915) |
